Wicker Smith Video Discussions Featured in USLAW NETWORK’s Worldwide Virtual Retreat Lightning Round: 5-Minute Drill

MIAMI – OCTOBER 20, 2020 – Civil litigation defense firm, Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford P.A., contributed pre-recorded presentations on hot legal topics for USLAW NETWORK’s recent Worldwide Virtual Retreat Lightning Round: 5-Minute Drill. As part of their participation in this virtual event, Wicker Smith attorneys submitted several fast-paced presentations within four practice areas. Contributing Wicker Smith attorneys included Oscar J. Cabanas and Erin M. Diaz in the area of medical malpractice; E. Holland “Holly” Howanitz in the area of construction law; Constantine “Dean” Nickas in the area of retail and hospitality; and Kurt Spengler in the area of transportation and logistics.

The 10-day complimentary conference was held virtually from September 30 till October 9, 2020 and created for general counsel, in-house counsel, heads and managers of claims and risk, C-suite executives, and other legal decision makers. The retreat covered everything from upcoming legislation and emerging technologies to how COVID-19 has impacted the claims environment and how recent decisions are impacting overall policies and operations.
