Wicker Smith’s Tampa Office Raises Over $1,500 to Support Clients Hit Hardest During COVID-19
TAMPA – APRIL 22, 2020 – Civil litigation defense firm, Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford P.A., is proud to announce its Tampa Office has raised over $1,500 in response to the COVID-19 outbreak to support numerous clients hit particularly hard by effects of the virus. These clients included two Florida assisted living facilities, seven local restaurants, a large regional medical clinic, and a building manager in need of resources.
The effort involved a coordinated delivery of essentials and meals to the hard-working staff members of two long-term care facilities throughout three shift schedules and to seven local restaurants working with skeleton crews and limited resources at closed locations. Food was also delivered to healthcare workers at a regional medical clinic to show support and to a diligent building manager whose work had suddenly slowed due to corona virus closures.
“This is the least we could do,” says Meghan L. Theodore, a partner in Wicker Smith’s Tampa office. “We are all a team, whether working as defense attorneys on their files, or helping them out during a hard time. We are watching out for their best interests and doing what we can to help.”
