Wicker Smith’s Claims Seminar Postponed

April 23, 2020     Events, Featured News, Firm Announcements, Firm News by c.echeverria

MIAMI/ORLANDO – APRIL 23, 2020 – In light of the changing global situation relating to the COVID-19 virus, Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford P.A., has continued to monitor the impact it is having not just on the industry, but on society in general. After consultation with managing partners and community health leaders it has become apparent that the best course of action, with everyone’s best interests in mind, is to postpone the event to a later date in time.

The seminar’s newly adjusted date will be announced shortly, until then the firm will keep everyone informed. Wicker Smith is focused on delivering positive business and networking opportunities in the near future.

Decisions like this are never taken lightly. Discussions took place at the highest level both internally and externally with local and federal government, partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees who all endorsed our evaluation of the current situation. Everyone’s health and safety is our top priority. Wicker Smith is fully aware of the important role it plays for industry professionals across Florida and the United States, which is why delivery of a safe and successful event is imperative.

Once again, Wicker Smith would like to thank everyone for the continued patience and ongoing support. The firm looks forward to welcoming you to Wicker Smith’s Claims Seminar on a date which coincides with the recovery of the event industry and public health.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Chelsea Echeverria, Wicker Smith’s marketing manager, at cecheverria@wikersmith.com.
