Zachary BorelloBiographyZachary Borello is an associate in Wicker Smith’s St. Petersburg Downtown office, where his main areas of practice are medical malpractice and professional liability. Zach received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in 2022 with a double major in Criminology and Psychology. He went on to earn his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2025. While at Stetson, Zach was an Associate Member of the Stetson Law Review, where he honed his legal research and writing skills. He also served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Louis Virelli’s Civil Procedure course and as a Research Assistant to Professor Ellen Podgor. Zach earned the book award for achieving the highest grade in his Civil Negotiation and Mediation class. During law school, Zach completed a Judicial Externship with the Honorable Christopher P. Tuite of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He was actively involved in campus life, serving as Chairman of Stetson Law School’s Intramural Softball League and as a Stetson Ambassador. Prior to joining the firm’s St. Petersburg office in 2026, Zach worked at another well-known medical malpractice defense firm.
