Jenifer Worley

Jenifer Worley is a shareholder in Wicker Smith’s Jacksonville office. She has handled a variety of matters throughout her career including general and premises liability and automobile negligence, but her main area of practice is the defense of hospitals and their employed providers in medical malpractice and healthcare negligence matters.

Licensed to practice in multiple states, Jenifer has represented both national and regional hospital systems in complex litigation throughout North Florida, South Georgia, and Alabama for almost 30 years. Her clients trust her to handle cases with the potential for significant damages and public exposure, including birth injury, wrongful death, and spinal cord and traumatic brain injury claims. She has the knowledge and skill to take a case to trial when necessary, but also the judgment and discernment to know when early resolution is called for. Warm and personable, Jenifer is adept at navigating the emotionally fraught issues in such cases and is frequently able to resolve them prior to trial in a way that is acceptable for all parties.

Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2026, Jenifer served as the managing partner in a local office of another prominent Florida-based defense firm, where she not only managed her own busy caseload, but also oversaw the day-to-day office operations and trained and developed the young attorneys on her team. A Jacksonville native, Jenifer built a successful career in her hometown, balancing the demands of being a litigator with being a working wife and mother. She and her husband are recent empty nesters, having raised three children who are now all off to college and of whom she is endlessly proud.
