Sofia Castellanos

Sofia Castellanos is an associate in the Miami office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on premise liability, wrongful death, and medical malpractice matters.

Sofia attended college at Florida State University. She majored in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy and completed study abroad cohorts in Florence, Italy, and Valencia, Spain, before graduating in 2021. She went on to attend law school at the University of Miami School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, where she was an active member of the Hispanic Law Students Association.

As an undergraduate, Sofia worked as a legal assistant in firms practicing both estate planning and family law and then pursued law clerk positions at firms focused primarily on litigation during law school. She is a product of the Wicker Smith summer associate program and was promoted to full-time associate upon her admission to the Florida Bar in 2025.

When she isn’t working, Sofia enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with her friends and family.
