Daniel Cannon

Daniel Cannon is an associate in the Miami office of Wicker Smith, where his practice focuses on general liability, professional liability, and transportation.

Daniel graduated cum laude from the University at Buffalo with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He spent a year working as a property insurance representative with Geico Insurance in Buffalo before continuing to law school at Florida State University College of Law. While at FSU, Daniel served as the Treasurer of the Business Law Society and won a national trial competition with the Trial Team. He graduated cum laude in 2025.

Daniel managed a busy calendar during law school. In addition to a full academic course load, he maintained a position as a Teaching Assistant in Evidence, and as a full-time legal assistant at a Tallahassee area litigation firm.

Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys playing golf, pickup soccer, and spending time with friends and family.
