Ayres II is an attorney in Wicker Smith’s Tampa office, handling mostly transportation, general liability, and construction matters, as well as a steady mediation and arbitration practice. Ray is a seasoned litigator who has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation throughout the Tampa Bay Area for more than 25 years. He has handled a variety of complex claims including bodily injury, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction defects, workers’ compensation, Social Security disability; and has served as lead counsel in dozens of jury and bench trials throughout his career. Additionally, he became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator in 2012 and a Certified Court-Appointed Arbitrator in 2022. Since he has truly experienced the litigation process from all angles, he is able to offer a unique, wide-angle viewpoint on case assessment, strategy, and potential defenses to help clients resolve claims quickly and efficiently. Away from the office, Ray is a dedicated member of the Tampa Bay Community. He coached little league for ten years and currently serves on the Tampa Bay Little League Board of Directors and the Hillsborough College Foundation Board of Directors.
