Michelle JuarezBiographyMichelle A. Juarez is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Fort Lauderdale office handling cases in commercial litigation, mass tort law, and class action matters. In 2018, she graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in public relations and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She then continued her education at Florida International University College of Law where she earned a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in 2021. While in law school, she placed on Dean’s List for three consecutive years and was a TA for the Legal Skills & Values program. Also, she was a law clerk for the Department of Homeland Security-ICE Office of Principal Legal Advisor and interned for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Edwin G. Torres in the Southern District of Florida in the Fall of 2020. Ms. Juarez was also a staff member of the FIU Law Review and served as vice-president of the Board of Appellate Advocates Moot Court Team. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Ms. Juarez held a law clerk position at a regional law firm handling first property insurance and complex commercial litigation matters. Ms. Juarez is admitted to practice in the State of Florida. She is fluent in Spanish and has basic knowledge of Portuguese. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world.
