Victoria SosaBiographyVictoria Sosa is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Fort Lauderdale office where she works primarily in medical law, products liability, and professional liability matters. In 2018, Victoria earned a Bachelor of Arts from New York University with a major in biology and a minor in Spanish. During her Pre-Medical tract at NYU, she gained a wide variety of experience in the medical field including research and clinical practice. She then continued her education at Florida International University where she graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2021 and placed on the Dean’s List throughout all four years. While in law school, Victoria was a member of the FIU Law Review, where her Comment, Should Playing God be Regulated by Federal Law?, was selected for publication. Additionally, she was an active member of the FIU Law Board of Appellate Advocates. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Victoria interned at the Office of the City Attorney – Miami, Florida, where she worked in the complex litigation division. She also worked as a teacher’s assistant for the Legal Skills and Values course at FIU Law and served as a Research Assistant where she investigated the role of the courts in various science-based disputes. Victoria is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is fluent in Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her family and friends.
