Madelyn Kemp

Madelyn Kemp is an associate in the Orlando office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on automobile and trucking negligence, premises liability, and general liability matters.

Madelyn attended college at the University of Florida, where she double majored in Sociology and Political Science and graduated cum laude in 2021. She went on to law school at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida.

Throughout the course of her education, Madelyn completed several legal clerkships and internships to sharpen her skills. She has worked in firms specializing in family law, first-party property, and civil litigation. During her 3L year, she was selected for a family law externship in St. Petersburg, where she worked on complex family law matters and she also spent much of that same year working in the Family Forms Clinic at Bay Area Legal Services, assisting pro-se litigants to complete the correct forms for divorce, paternity, and other matters. Madelyn joined Wicker Smith as a member of the 2024 Summer Associate Program and became a full-time associate upon her admission to the Florida Bar in 2025.

Outside of work, Madelyn enjoys reading a new book, spending time with her friends and family, and going on walks with her two Goldendoodles, Cooper and Ruby.
