Katlyn D. "Kate" Hutchison

Katlyn D. “Kate” Hutchison is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Phoenix office, where she works primarily on medical malpractice and personal injury matters.

Kate attended Arizona State University, where she double-majored in Criminal Justice/Criminology and Political Science. She graduated summa cum laude in 2015, and went on to attend law school at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. She completed several impressive internships/externships during law school, including with the United States Attorney’s Office and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, as well as a one-year clerkship with the Honorable Michael R. Pearson of Prince George’s County Circuit Court in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2024, Kate worked for several years at a well-known boutique family law firm in Phoenix, where she represented clients in a variety of matters including pre- and post-nuptial agreements, divorce, asset division, support agreements, child custody, domestic violence, and post-judgment modifications.

When she is not working, Kate enjoys spending time with her family and competing at her local CrossFit box.
