Elaine BlanchardBiographyElaine Blanchard is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Jacksonville office, where she works on a variety of matters including medical malpractice, professional liability, and general liability and personal injury claims. Elaine practiced law in New York City for most of her career, before relocating to Florida in 2024. During her time in New York, she spent eight years at an AmLaw 200 firm, where she represented corporations and banking institutions in multinational litigation matters. She went on to serve for ten years as a Court Attorney across multiple divisions in the Supreme Court of the State of New York. There, she drafted judicial trial and motion decisions on a variety of matters, from matrimonial and family law to personal injury actions, insurance claims, contract disputes, medical malpractice actions and employment disputes. A talented writer and researcher, Elaine brings a unique breadth of experience to her litigation work.
