John Thomas Salmon

John Thomas “J.T.” Salmon, a native of West Tennessee, is an Associate in Wicker Smith’s Birmingham office where he focuses primarily on the defense of individuals and companies in a wide range of civil matters, including commercial transportation and premises liability.

J.T. graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Memphis and cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, he served as an Articles Editor of The Journal of The Legal Profession, having his student note selected for publication. Following graduation, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable T. Michael Putnam of the Northern District of Alabama.

Outside of practicing law, John enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, their friends and family, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers. He is admitted to practice in the states of Alabama and Tennessee.
