Bruce D. Crawford

Bruce D. Crawford is a partner in Wicker Smith’s Phoenix office, where he works on a variety of medical litigation matters.

Bruce has been litigating medical cases for nearly 40 years. In his early career, he was a shareholder at one of the premier defense firms in the Southwest. He went on to start his own firm in 1993, which he ran successfully until he joined Wicker Smith in 2024.

Bruce is Board Certified in Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation by the State Bar of Arizona, and throughout his career he has tried dozens of cases across Arizona, representing the interests of doctors, chiropractors, podiatrists, and other specialists. In addition to his extensive experience in the defense of medical malpractice, medical service, personal injury, wrongful death, and professional liability claims, Bruce also handles matters involving professional regulatory boards such as the Arizona Medical Board.

Well-regarded by his peers in the Arizona legal community, Bruce has consistently been ranked in Southwest Super Lawyers^®  in the field of medical malpractice defense, holds an AV-preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, and Arizona State University College of Law.
