Devin R. Moore

Devin R. Moore is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Wicker Smith, where his practice focuses on transportation, premises liability, and products liability.

Devin earned his undergraduate degrees in Finance and Risk Management/Insurance from Florida State University. He went on to pursue his law degree from St. Thomas University College of Law, where he graduated cum laude and served as a senior articles editor of the St. Thomas Law Review. Devin’s article, “The Unethical Practices of Force-Placed Insurance: How to Protect and Indemnify the Forgotten Investors of Mortgage-Backed Securities,” was selected for publication in the St. Thomas Law Review Volume 37, Issue 2. Devin was also a member of the STU Trial Team and Phi Delta Phi. Devin had the opportunity to compete in the Florida Justice Association’s Honorable E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition at the Broward County Courthouse. At this competition, Devin competed against other mock trial teams from across Florida, and his team placed in the quarterfinals.

Devin completed several internships throughout law school, gaining experience in corporate law, housing and tenant issues, government services, and commercial real estate development. He also completed a summer in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Spain, as part of St. Thomas University’s Summer in Spain program.

Outside of work, Devin enjoys watching sports, golfing, fishing and spending quality time with family and friends.
