Abbigail MurphyBiographyAbbigail Murphy is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Melbourne office. She works in a variety of practice areas, but primarily focuses on premises liability and automobile negligence. Abbigail was an honors student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before moving on to the University of Kansas School of Law on a full academic merit scholarship. She was active in the Mock Trial Council and the recipient of the Lawton R. Nuss Excellence in Advocacy Award and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy. She received her J.D. in 2025. During law school, Abbigail gained valuable litigation experience as a full-time law clerk at a personal injury firm in Topeka, and by volunteering with the KU Undergraduate Mock Trial Team. She also worked for several years as a tutor with American Vietnam Exchange, tutoring ESL students. Outside of work, Abbigail enjoys riding horses, going to the beach, and traveling.
