Carson FreundBiographyCarson Freund is an associate in the Nashville office of Wicker Smith, where his practice focuses on medical malpractice, construction, and business litigation, as well as appellate work. Carson attended college at Lipscomb University in Nashville, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 2022, with a minor in Applied Mathematics. He continued his studies at the University of Alabama School of Law on a full academic merit scholarship. He held leadership positions in the Christian Legal Society, served on the Campbell Moot Court Board, worked as a Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review, and represented Alabama Law on the National Tax Moot Court Team. He received his J.D. in 2025. Carson completed several internships and clerkships during law school, including with the Tennessee Circuit Court for Williamson County, the Alabama Law Appellate Advocacy Clinic, where he argued at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and a business litigation firm in Nashville. He was a summer associate with Wicker Smith in 2024, and joined the firm as a full-time associate upon his admission to the Tennessee Bar in 2025. Outside of the office, Carson enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Allie, and golden retriever, Tucker. He is passionate about running, backpacking, hunting, and wildlife conservation.
