Moorehouse is an Associate in Wicker Smith’s Pensacola office, where his work is focused primarily on commercial litigation, premises liability, negligent security, and trucking and auto negligence matters. David holds a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of West Florida, with minors in criminal justice and public administration. He went on to earn his J.D. from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and part of the ABA Mediation Team. During law school, he also worked with the Innocence Project of New Orleans, clerked for Federal Magistrate Judge Hope T. Cannon of the Northern District of Florida, and supported litigation matters as a summer associate at a Pensacola law firm. David brings significant trial experience and a practical, results-driven approach to every case, informed by his prior role as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s First Judicial Circuit, where he managed a busy criminal docket and served as lead counsel at multiple trials.
