Anne E. Semmons

Anne E. Semmons is an associate in Wicker Smith’s St. Petersburg office, handling mostly medical malpractice, long term care, and professional liability matters.

Anne joined Wicker Smith in 2026 after spending four years handling complex litigation at another prestigious Florida-based defense firm. She has represented hospital systems, healthcare providers, and Fortune 500 companies throughout Florida and is experienced in all aspects of litigation from presuit up to and including trial.

Anne earned her undergraduate degree from Stetson University, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science in 2018. She continued her education at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, where she was the Vice President of the Environmental Law Society and wrote for the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy. She received her law degree with a Certificate of Concentration in Environmental Law in 2022.

In her free time, Anne is an outdoors enthusiast who spends her free time at the beach, scuba diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, and riding motorcycles. She is also an avid painter, chef, and cat mom.
