Wicker Smith Welcomes Two Attorneys to Phoenix Office
PHOENIX – MARCH 11, 2021 – Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford P.A. is pleased to announce that attorneys Ellen S. Levy & Isaiah X Herrera have joined the Phoenix office effective immediately.
Ellen S. Levy has joined as a Partner in the Phoenix office of Wicker Smith where she is known for her ability to effectively address catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and damages arising from a wide variety of cases including medical and legal malpractice, healthcare law, nursing home negligence, legal malpractice, transportation and motor vehicle accidents, premise liability and/or dram shop incidents. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Ms. Levy was a shareholder for 12 years for another prestigious litigation firm where she managed similar case work in addition to legal malpractice and bad faith. She was also managing attorney to a global insurance company for several years, where she increased the overall production of her office within the very first year while simultaneously handling wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims as well as dram shop matters throughout the state of Arizona. Furthermore, Ms. Levy handled special investigation claims for the carrier so as to assist with the evaluation of potential fraudulent claims. Ms. Levy is admitted to practice in the state of Arizona and is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association, the Federal Bar and Maricopa Bar Association. She has also been recognized as a Benchmark Litigator in both 2019 and 2020.
Isaiah X Herrera has joined as an associate in Wicker Smith’s Phoenix office where his practice focuses primarily on medical malpractice matters. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from New Mexico State University and received a Juris Doctor from University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. Mr. Herrera was an ongoing Dean’s List scholar and Crimson Scholar, which is a NMSU recognition and enrichment program for students of exceptional academic achievement. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, he practiced at a local probate and litigation firm where he handled personal injury and contract disputes. Mr. Herrera is admitted to practice law within Arizona and New Mexico and he is also licensed to practice in Federal District Court.
