Defense Verdict: Miami-Dade County, FL (Auto Negligence)

Fort Lauderdale Partner, Theresa Strub Caccippio, and Associate, Marc Spier, obtained a defense verdict in an auto negligence case in Miami-Dade County last week.

Plaintiff in this case was a young professional in her early 30’s, who claimed that she underwent an ACDF at C3-4 as a result of the accident. She had no prior history of injury, and the medical bills were in excess of $200,000.

Plaintiff’s counsel asked the jury for a total of $1.6 million, but the jury found no legal cause on the part of our insured driver and returned a complete defense verdict.
