Yanill MoqueteBiographyYanill Moquete is an Associate in Wicker Smith’s Fort Lauderdale office, working in the areas of commercial litigation, products liability, and professional liability. Yanill brings a diverse background in both government and private practice to her work at Wicker Smith. Most recently, she served as an Attorney Advisor with the Executive Office for Immigration Review, where she conducted legal research, drafted memoranda, and supported judicial decision-making on complex legal issues. Her earlier work included representing individuals in removal and asylum proceedings, preparing immigration filings, and managing high-volume caseloads with precision and care. She attended Florida International University, where she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science. She went on to law school at the University of Miami School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, and received her J.D. in 2020.
