V. Joseph Mueller is an attorney in Wicker Smith’s St. Petersburg office, handling labor and employment disputes as well as trucking liability and catastrophic injury claims.

Joe is experienced in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination and retaliation claims, FMLA issues, and workers compensation defense. He has also represented clients in the defense of industrial accidents and catastrophic workplace injuries. He has tried dozens of such cases throughout the Tampa Bay Area and is a trusted advisor to clients across all employment sectors.

In addition to his litigation calendar, Joe also maintains a busy public speaking schedule. He is regularly invited to appear as a guest lecturer for professional, human resources, and risk management organizations and associations across Tampa Bay. He has also served as a guest lecturer in the Paralegal Studies Program at St. Petersburg College.

Joe is an active member of the Tampa Bay legal community, holding leadership positions in a variety of organizations. He is also a past President of the St. Petersburg West Rotary Club.
