Biography

Melissa T. Woodward, an associate in the Orlando office, is admitted to practice in New York and Florida. She focuses her practice on matters involving premises liability, product liability, transportation and general civil litigation.
Prior to joining the firm in 2012, she was an associate for four years with a local Orlando-based firm dedicated to defending auto manufacturers in product liability cases. She also served as a Trial Clerk in the Complex Business Court for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of the State of Florida from 2006-2007.
A native of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, Ms. Woodward earned a Juris Doctor from New York Law in 2000. While in law school, she served as both a team coach and competitor for the New York Law School Moot Court Honor Society. She was also a staff member for the New York Law School Journal of International and Comparative Law. In 1993, Ms. Woodward graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in French and International Relations. She spent her junior year in college abroad in Paris, France, studying French Economy, History, Literature and Language.
Ms. Woodward is a member of the Florida Bar, New York State Bar, Orange County Bar Association, Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Defense Research Institute. She is fluent in French.
