Melissa Solis Sanchez

Melissa Solis Sanchez is an associate in the Sarasota office where she focuses on medical malpractice matters.

Melissa graduated from New College of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2017. She then attended Florida State University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2024, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Melissa received Book Awards for Highest Grade in Family Law, Global Health & Pharmaceutical Law, International Human Rights Advocacy Clinic, and Jury Selection. She was also the Article Selection Editor for the Florida State University Law Review. Prior to joining Wicker Smith as an attorney in 2024, Melissa served as a dedicated summer associate with the firm.

Outside of practicing law, Melissa enjoys board games, pickleball and contemporary literature. She is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and is fluent in Spanish.
