Mariette Sanchez-Casillas

Mariette Sanchez-Casillas is an Associate in the Orlando office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on general liability, retail, and transportation law.

Mariette graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a double-major in Communications and Spanish Language. She was a Dean’s List scholar and completed a cohort at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in Spain before continuing her studies at Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where she was an Academic Merit Scholarship recipient.

During law school, Mariette gained experience in a variety of practice areas by completing internships in plaintiff-side litigation, family law, and at the Office of the Public Defender in Orlando. She joined Wicker Smith as a law clerk in the fall of her 3L year, and transitioned to Associate upon passing the bar exam in 2025.

When she isn’t working, Mariette enjoys discovering new restaurants, visiting theme parks, and spending quality time with her friends and family. She also loves to travel and experience different cultures.
