Kyle Lockwood

Kyle Lockwood is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Fort Lauderdale office. He is involved in a range of practice areas, with a primary focus on general liability, product liability, retail, transportation, non-profits, and religious institutions.

Mr. Lockwood attended the University of Central Florida, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Business. He worked for two years as an Ability Analyst with a major national insurance company before going on to earn his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad College of Law in 2023.

An accomplished Mock Trial competitor, Mr. Lockwood was the champion of the Buffalo Niagara Mock Trial Competition, as well as finalist or semi-finalist in several other Moot Court competitions throughout the country. He was a member of the National Order of Barristers, Vice President of Teams for the NSU Trial Association, a Junior Associate on the Law Review, and the recipient of the Van Horn Law Group Pro Bono Award.

Mr. Lockwood completed clerkships at two different firms in South Florida, as well as with the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office Homicide Division, before joining Wicker Smith in 2023.
