Kelly MeraBiographyKelly Mera is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Fort Lauderdale office. She is involved in a range of practice areas, with a primary focus on professional liability and retail. Kelly attended Florida State University, obtaining her Bachelor of Science magna cum laude in Political Science and International Affairs in 2019. She continued on to Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law and received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2023. Among her many law school accolades, Kelly made the Dean’s List all six semesters, earned CALI Book Awards in Legal Research and Writing and Constitutional Law Seminar, served as the Chief Justice of Moot Court Honor Society and was the Assistant Lead Articles Editor of Nova Law Review. As a law student, Kelly worked as a judicial intern to the Honorable Senior Judge Susan Greenhawt in the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida Family Law Division, and as a teaching and research assistant to Professor Heather Baxter, in Legal Research and Writing.
