Kelly L. CaseyBiographyKelly L. Casey, a partner in Wicker Smith’s Miami office, joined the firm in 2025. Kelly is an experienced trial attorney, having spent ten years as a partner at another South Florida law firm before joining Wicker Smith. She served as the Chair of the Medical Malpractice Group there, while managing a caseload of medical negligence, nursing home negligence, general liability, and administrative claims on behalf of a variety of medical facilities and healthcare professionals. In addition to her litigation experience, Kelly regularly responds to Amendment 7 requests, EMTALA claims, and audit trail disputes on behalf of her clients. She also has extensive experience in representing healthcare providers in disputes with their various licensing entities, and has appeared before the Florida Department of Health and the Agency for Healthcare Administration on multiple occasions. Kelly is a graduate of Penn State University and the University of Miami School of Law. When she isn’t working, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and children, cooking, and traveling. Kelly is an experienced trial attorney, having spent ten years as a partner at another South Florida law firm before joining Wicker Smith.
