Kayla ManningBiographyKayla S. Manning is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Orlando office, where she works in a variety of practice areas, but primarily in professional liability, retail, and transportation. Kayla attended the University of Central Florida, majoring in Legal Studies and minoring in Criminal Justice. She graduated in 2017 and continued on to Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2023. While in law school, Kayla worked full-time as a legal assistant, gaining extensive experience in litigation cases, including real estate and labor and employment. Additionally, she served as the Senior Editor of the Barry Law Review and received a Book Award in Civil Procedure. Prior to joining Wicker Smith as an associate in 2023, Kayla served as a law clerk at a prestigious labor and employment firm where she assisted on various complex legal issues regarding FMLA, ADA, FLSA, the Florida Civil Rights Act, and other state and federal statutes relating to employment and labor disputes.
