He defends individuals and entities in cases involving medical malpractice, first-party liability, premises liability, insurance coverage, and general liability. In 1994, Mr. Armbruster graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Akron. He then continued his education at the University of Akron School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor in 1997. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Mr. Armbruster held an in-house position at a nationwide insurance company handling first-party and third-party liability defense claims. He has also worked as a trial attorney at a regional defense firm litigating cases involving medical malpractice, general liability, and insurance coverage issues. Throughout his career, Mr. Armbruster has successfully tried dozens of cases before juries throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Armbruster was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 1997. He is an active member in the Florida Bar and Sarasota County Bar Association. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, astronomy, photography, and spending time with his family.
