Jacqueline SerasBiographyJacqueline Seras is an associate in the West Palm Beach office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on medical malpractice and professional liability matters. Jacqueline earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she served as President of the Jewish Law Student Association and Financial Officer of the Veterans Advocacy Legal Organization. As a law student, Jacqueline served as an extern with the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps at MacDill Air Force Base, where she gained valuable experience reviewing confidential investigation files, preparing court-martial charging instruments under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, investigating landlord-tenant disputes on behalf of servicemembers, and assisting with federal magistrate court appearances for civilian criminal matters on military property. She also devoted considerable time to the Wake Forest Veterans Legal Clinic, representing servicemembers in matters involving military record corrections and discharge upgrades. In one matter, she successfully advocated for the upgrade of a former servicemember’s discharge to honorable status more than 50 years after his separation from the military, securing long-overdue recognition of his service and a correction to his military record. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Jacqueline spent two years at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm – first as a law clerk, and then as an associate attorney – where she learned all aspects of the litigation process including extensive motion practice, preparing demand packages, and defending the depositions of her clients. During her free time, Jacqueline enjoys exploring South Florida’s farmers markets, cooking, and spending time with her dog, Moishe.
