Erik CrepBiographyErik P. Crep is a Shareholder in the Miami office. He joined the firm in 2004. Erik’s primary areas of practice are the defense of trucking and auto negligence, premises liability and personal injury, and professional liability matters. He has significant experience with cases involving claims of catastrophic injury involving death, brain damage, permanent disability and disfigurement. With two decades of experience in civil litigation, he has developed a reputation for his strategic approach to defending clients. Erik uses all resources at his disposal and aggressive early investigation to develop a defense, investigate the Plaintiff and provide a comprehensive analysis of the case early on in the litigation process. Central to Erik’s strategy is his ability to make well-informed recommendations on resolution strategies to the client and insurance company. Erik strives to provide his clients with informed guidance, balancing the potential risks and benefits of litigation. He understands the importance of efficiency in the legal process and strives to streamline proceedings by offering clear and concise recommendations early in the case. Erik defends cases aggressively and get the best possible outcome for his client. Erik is a graduate of Columbia University, where he was a three-year starter on the basketball team; he went on to earn his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2004. Erik is an active member of the Florida Bar, the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, Professional Liability Defense Federation, Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, and DRI.
