Danielle FavataBiographyDanielle C. Favata is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Wicker Smith where she currently focuses her practice on transportation and premises liability matters. In 2013, Ms. Favata graduated from Florida State University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Leadership & Civic Education. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Ms. Favata attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2016. Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2018, she practiced at another South Florida litigation firm, where she handled premises liability and insurance defense. She was also a criminal defense attorney for the Broward County Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Favata is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is a good standing member of The Florida Bar. In addition, she is an active member of the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale where she mentors new members. Favorable Verdict With Over $400,000 In Medical Bills
This was a rear end accident in which our client was driving a box truck. Plaintiff had $469,000 in medical bills and underwent a level 2 cervical fusion, two right knee surgeries and multiple injections and a lumbar rhizotomy. Plaintiff asked for a verdict of $2.375 million. The jury came back with a verdict of $21,600 on past medical bills, no future medicals and no past or future pain and suffering.
