Danielle M. Carlsen is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Wicker Smith where she currently focuses her practice on automotive, civil litigation, and premises liability.
In 2013, Ms. Carlsen graduated from Florida State University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Leadership & Civic Education. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Ms. Carlsen attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2016. Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2018, she practiced at another South Florida litigation firm, where she handled premises liability and insurance defense. She was also a criminal defense attorney for the Broward County Public Defender’s Office.
Ms. Carlsen is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is a good standing member of The Florida Bar. In addition, she is an active member of the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale where she mentors new members. When not practicing law, Ms. Carlsen enjoys running in marathons; she is also conversant in American Sign Language.
