Daniella L. CapoteBiographyDaniella L. Capote is an associate in the Miami office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on general liability. Daniella began her legal career in the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s office, in the Misdemeanor Domestic Violence and Juvenile Division. She was lead counsel on three jury trials and one bench trial before moving on to an in-house staff counsel role at a major national insurer. She spent three years there handling first-party insurance disputes through all phases of litigation. She joined Wicker Smith in 2026. Daniella attended college in France at The American University of Paris, where she obtained a degree in art history in 2014. She continued her education at St. Thomas University School of Law, where she was an award-winning member of the trial team, the President of the Hispanic American Law Student Association, and made the Dean’s List for three semesters.
