Carolina Del CampoBiographyCarolina A. Del Campo is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Miami office handling professional liability cases. In 2017, Ms. Del Campo earned a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University with a major in criminology and minors in English and Spanish. She was a member of the Oscar Aris Spanish Honor Society and volunteered as Guardian ad Litem for a year. She continued her education at St. Thomas University School of Law where she graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor in 2020. While in law school, Ms. Del Campo served as senior articles editor of the St. Thomas Law Review and vice president of competition of the St. Thomas Trial Team, and student ambassador of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. She was a member of the Torts Law Society and the Business Law Society. As a student, she earned The Order of Barristers Award in both May 2019 and May 2020 and two CALI Book Awards for Appellate Advocacy in 2018 and Trial Advocacy Practice in 2019. She won national champion of the Florida National Trial Advocacy Tournament in October 2019 and of the ABA Labor Employment Law Trail Advocacy in January 2019. Prior to joining Wicker Smith as an attorney, Ms. Del Campo was a law clerk at the firm for about a year where she assisted with matters in civil and business litigation, medical malpractice, and premises liability defense. She also held a summer associate position at regional law office handling land-lord tenant disputes and consumer debt defense. Previously, Ms. Del Campo was a judicial intern for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, Complex Business Litigation Division where she attended trials and oral arguments, conducted legal research, prepared bench memoranda, and observed hearings in civil, criminal, family, and bankruptcy court.
