Carolina Del CampoBiographyCarolina del Campo is a partner in Wicker Smith’s Miami office. A product of our Summer Associate program, she joined the firm as a law clerk in 2019 and has made her career here ever since. Carolina is experienced in a variety of practice areas, but her work mostly focuses on first party property claims, products liability, general liability, and premises liability including negligent security. More recently, she has added general liability for hospital and medical clients into her portfolio as well. Carolina prides herself on her meticulous, no-stone-unturned approach to her cases and her commitment to client communication. Her tenacity at the onset of a case typically results in, if not an outright dismissal, then an agreeable settlement and resolution. Always prepared and calm under pressure, she has been involved in several notable cases in South Florida with significant local and national media exposure, including the class action suit following the 2024 Copa América final between Argentina and Colombia. Whether she is representing some of the firm’s biggest clients, such as national restaurant chains, major commercial property management companies, and two of the state of Florida’s major property insurers, or a small, family-owned business, Carolina is just as dedicated in her pursuit of a fair and equitable result. In addition to her work as a litigator, Carolina is a dedicated servant of the South Florida legal community. She dedicates much of her free time to the mentoring of future lawyers as the head coach of the trial team at her alma mater, St. Thomas University Law School. Under her guidance, the team has won several regional and national trial advocacy competitions, and Carolina places great value in being able to share her skills and give back to the community in this way. Carolina’s true passion outside of work is travel. She has spent significant time in South America and Europe, and still has several locations to check off her bucket list. She lives in Miami with her boyfriend and their two golden retrievers. Professional & Civic Affiliations |
