Grant Walford is an Associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Wicker Smith, where he handles a variety of matters including general liability, professional liability, real estate, construction, retail, transportation, and commercial litigation. Grant earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Florida State University. He went on to pursue his law degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, where he was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta, the Student Advisory Committee, the Moot Court Society, and the NSU Trial Association. Grant was a Dean’s List Scholar and earned the CALI Book Award in Torts. For two years during law school, Grant served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Judge Melanie May at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal. This role allowed Grant a first-hand look at the appeals process, and helped him hone his skills in research, legal analysis, legal writing, and oral argument.
