Alexa M. BrinBiographyAlexa M. Brin is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on general liability, retail, and aviation matters. Alexa earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. She worked as a paralegal at an insurance defense firm in New York for two years before going on to pursue her law degree at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. As a law student, Alexa was a member of the NSU Trial Association, the Moot Court Honor Society, the Student Bar Association, and served as the Chair of Competitions for the Board of Advocates. She earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Torts and Florida Wills, and was a Dean’s List scholar all six semesters. Alexa began her career at Wicker Smith as a law clerk in September of 2023, was a member of the summer associate program in 2024, and became an associate upon her admission to the Florida Bar in 2025.
