Wicker Smith Hosts Inaugural Executive Forum
ORLANDO – JULY 18, 2023 –Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford P.A. hosted the inaugural edition of the Executive Forum at the beautiful JW Marriott Grande Lakes July 14th-15th.
The Executive Forum brought Wicker Smith partners from Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Arizona together with leading Risk Management and General Counsel professionals from some of the top corporations in the Southeast, for two days of fellowship and interactive education. In contrast with Wicker Smith’s previous annual event, known as the Claims Seminar, the Executive Forum invited a limited number of guests to participate in a total of six different presentations led by Wicker Smith partners from the Medical Malpractice, Retail, Construction and Transportation practice groups. Professionals from Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. joined us to provide a technical perspective on the various issues. These sessions encouraged contemporaneous conversation and sharing of ideas among the attendees, with the two-day format of the event providing plenty of time for networking and social interaction. The event also featured a keynote address by retired U.S. Army Major General and author Mari K. Eder, who shared themes from her new book, The Girls Who Stepped Out of Line: Untold Stories of the Woman Who Changed the Course of World War II.
