Wicker Smith’s 2022 Summer Associate program is comprised of law students from all over the country. It is designed to provide law students with a broad view of Wicker Smith’s wide range of practices while nurturing each summer associate’s individual legal interests. Each clerk is assigned a mentor and will spend the 11-week program experiencing hands-on training, including attending depositions, mediations and trials as well as and working on research-based projects. Throughout the summer, they will participate in weekly training sessions focusing on the inner workings of a litigation firm. They will work closely with their partner and associate mentors, as well as the professional staff, allowing them to grow as aspiring attorneys.

“Hundreds of candidates were interviewed throughout the fall and we found 40 of the best and brightest from that process,” said Richard E. Ramsey, Jacksonville Managing Partner of Wicker Smith. “These students were selected through a rigorous process because we are thinking even beyond the summer in hopes they will return next fall as associates to be part of the ever-growing Wicker Smith family!”
