MIAMI/NASHVILLE – September 3, 2019 – Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford, P.A., one of Florida’s leading law firms, and Floyd Law Group are pleased to announce the merger of their firms in Nashville, Tennessee. Wicker Smith continues to expand to meet a substantial increase in demand for the firm’s notable services in its existing practice areas of civil litigation and professional liability. With the Nashville office being the first in that region, both firms will work collaboratively with current and perspective clients to build their local presence.

John F. Floyd, Sr., will serve as the office’s primary partner and oversee the day to day operation of the Nashville office. As a seasoned trial lawyer, John has tried over 100 jury cases to verdict with the majority of his trials involving the defense of healthcare professionals and business/corporate entities. He is also certified by the National Board of Civil Trial Advocacy and The American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. He has been designated as “National Trial Counsel” by several major corporations which has resulted in him trying cases all over the United States.  He will add to our existing National trial team which has been active around the nation in defending catastrophic cases. In addition to our Nashville team, our attorneys will be John Floyd Jr., Hunter Hinton, Kimberly Cooper and Anne Hamer. They are supported by Rachael Duke and the team will focus on focus on General Liability and Medical Malpractice. The office will be located at 3990 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 300, Nashville, Tennessee 37215.

“We are excited to join with John and his team. Their trial experience and aggressive defense of their clients merges nicely with our firm philosophy and by coming together as one, we can deliver exceptional value to both our clients and peers in Nashville.”, said Nicholas Christin, Managing Partner of Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy and Ford P.A.
