Malinda Sees McLeodBiographyMalinda Sees McLeod is an associate in the Atlanta office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on general and premises liability matters. Malinda attended college at the University of Georgia, earning her degree in Political Science magna cum laude in 2020. She worked for a year as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate in Athens, Georgia, before pursuing her law degree at Emory University School of Law. While at Emory, Malinda was a 2024 Kessler-Eidson Trial Technique Scholar, active in the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, and the Executive Administrative Editor of the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review. She completed her J.D. in 2025. As a law student, Malinda continued to expand on her passion for child advocacy by working as a legal extern with an organization in Atlanta that researched state zoning laws and compliance standards for alternative school settings; as an Emory Summer Child Advocacy Program Intern for Judge Natasha Crawford in the Fulton County Juvenile Court; and as a Student Attorney at the Barton Child Law and Policy Center, the Barton Appeal for the Youth Clinic, and the Barton Juvenile Public Defender Clinic. She also worked as a summer associate for one term at an Atlanta probate and estate planning firm. When she is not in the office, Malinda can often be found relaxing with her cats and a good book—or catching up on reality TV. She keeps balanced through reformer Pilates and aerial silks.
