Lauren BracerasBiographyLauren Braceras is an associate in the Miami office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on estates, trusts, and probate matters. Lauren attended college at the University of Florida, graduating cum laude with a degree in psychology in 2021. She worked for a year as a reading interventionist in Miami-Dade County Public Schools before moving on to attend the University of Miami School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. While in law school, Lauren was active in a number of student organizations including the Cuban American Bar Association, the Hispanic Law Student Association, the Real Property Probate and Trust Society, and the Child Advocacy Family Law Society. She received her J.D. in 2025. Lauren’s commitment to advocating for children continued throughout law school, where she completed a year-long internship with the University of Miami Children and Youth Law Clinic. There, she gained hands-on experience providing legal advocacy and representation to children in matters involving education, mental health, immigration, and other civil issues. She further broadened her experience as a summer law clerk at a Miami-area immigration firm. The following summer, Lauren joined Wicker Smith as a law clerk, assisting with estate and probate cases, and later became an associate with the firm in 2025.
