Kelvin S. JensenBiographyKelvin S. Jensen is an Associate in Wicker Smith’s Orlando office where his practice includes general liability, products liability, construction law, and appeals. Kelvin is a graduate from both Brigham Young University and Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. Early in his career, Kelvin pursued every opportunity to immerse himself in the state and federal court system. In law school he worked as a judicial intern for Judge Christine S. Johnson of the Utah Fourth District Court and then for Judge Howard C. Nielson, Jr. of the US District Court for the District of Utah. He also worked part-time as a state court interpreter (Spanish). After law school, he worked as a judicial law clerk for Judge Mary Alice Nardella of Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal and then for Chief Judge David C. Nye of the US District Court for the District of Idaho. Kelvin skillfully deploys his knowledge of the judicial process, as well as his superb writing skills, to obtain victories for his clients. After his clerkships, Kelvin joined an AmLaw 200 firm where he worked on complex commercial litigation matters in multiple jurisdictions. Kelvin is active in his faith and enjoys mentoring the rising generation. He visits with local school groups to teach students about the legal profession and volunteers to judge mock trial competitions at the high school and college level. When he was an undergraduate, Kelvin took a two-year leave of absence to work as a missionary in Chiapas, Mexico.
