Kelsey WeissBiographyKelsey Weiss is an associate in the Orlando office of Wicker Smith, where her practice focuses on medical malpractice, professional liability, and general/premises liability matters. Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2026, Kelsey worked at another prominent Orlando defense firm, representing clients in a variety of complex civil litigation matters. She has tried nearly a dozen cases on behalf of some of the largest healthcare systems, individual medical providers and practices, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies throughout Florida. Kelsey holds a law degree from Stetson University College of Law, where she was a graduate of the Honors Program, a teaching assistant for Torts students, an editor for a Journal, and recipient of an Academic Excellence Merit Based Scholarship. She received a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology & Microbiology and Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a focus on Medical Anthropology from the University of Central Florida. As a student she held a variety of volunteer and internship positions at two major Central Florida hospital systems and served as the Secretary of the Health Law Association in law school. This interest in science and healthcare has been consistent throughout her education and gives Kelsey a broad well of experience from which to draw in her current capacity representing medical providers and facilities. In addition to her litigation practice, Kelsey is a dedicated member of the Orlando legal community. She is the Chair of the Orange County Bar Association’s annual Law Day 5K fundraiser, and a past Executive Committee member and current board member of the OCBA Young Lawyers Section.
