Elza Armen GrigoryanBiographyElza Armen Grigoryan is an associate in the Birmingham office of Wicker Smith, where she handles general liability, products liability, medical malpractice, construction, and transportation matters in both State and Federal court, as well as a variety of professional licensing and administrative board issues. Elza brings broad experience in corporate law, commercial litigation, and estate planning to her practice at Wicker Smith. Prior to joining the firm in 2026, Elza spent almost ten years at a boutique firm near Philadelphia handling tax controversies, white collar criminal defense, business disputes, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and professional liability in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. She also completed significant pro-bono work in the U.S. District Court of New Jersey’s Reentry Court, assisting individuals on post-conviction supervision and debt repayment. Elza holds a law degree from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida, and an undergraduate degree from Philadelphia University. As a college student, she had the unique opportunity to serve as a Diplomatic Intern representing Romania in the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. She is fluent in Armenian and Russian. Elza and her husband Caleb recently relocated from Philadelphia to Birmingham. During her free time, she loves finding new places to shop and eat with family and friends.
