Daniel FerranteDaniel Ferrante Daniel Ferrante is an Associate in the Jacksonville office of Wicker Smith, where he focuses primarily on medical malpractice, general liability, and automobile negligence. Mr. Ferrante began his career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami, Florida, where he gained invaluable trial experience. Following his work in public service, Mr. Ferrante worked at a boutique firm representing medical providers in civil litigation, white-collar defense investigations, and regulatory/compliance cases. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, he served as a Senior Associate attorney at a prominent Jacksonville firm where he defended insurance carriers, insureds, and automobile and RV manufacturers in various matters, including breach of contract, negligence, and breach of warranty. Mr. Ferrante received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing, with a minor in Philosophy from Florida State University, graduating cum laude. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, also graduating cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Ferrante served on the Charles C. Papy Jr. Moot Court Board, where he won the Robert Orseck State Moot Court Competition, which is conducted annually at the Florida Bar Conference. Mr. Ferrante was also a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient, and volunteered as a tutor and mentor for Empowered Youth, a local program designed to assist at risk adolescents.
