Christian Sweeney

Christian Sweeney is an associate in the Orlando office of Wicker Smith, where his practice focuses primarily on premises liability matters.

Christian earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Rollins College, where he was also a member of the school’s Varsity Rowing Team.  He continued his education at Stetson University College of Law, where he was named to the Honor Roll and inducted into Phi Delta Phi. He served on the Dispute Resolution Board as captain of the Hong Kong Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration Competition and as captain of the school’s Arbitration Team. He was also an active member of the Stetson Law Ambassadors.

Christian began his legal career as a legal intern with an Orlando law firm, assisting family and business law attorneys with case management and client communications. As a law student, he served as a law clerk with a Tampa law firm handling employment law matters and EEOC complaints. He spent his 2L summer as a Summer Associate in Wicker Smith’s Orlando office and joined the firm full time upon his admission to the Florida Bar in 2026.

Outside of practicing law, Christian enjoys playing beach volleyball, pickleball, and exploring local farmers markets, plant stores, and coffee shops.
