    Charlene Poblete

    Charlene C. Poblete is a partner in the firm’s Jacksonville office, who focuses her practice in the areas of medical and legal malpractice, health care and regulatory law, insurance agent-broker errors and omissions, casualty claims defense, premises liability, products liability and labor & employment. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Charlene worked as a telecommunications staff attorney in the Office of General Counsel for the Florida Public Service Commission.

    Charlene attended the University of Florida from 2001 to 2004, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She also minored in English, History and Sociology and was invited for membership into Phi Beta Kappa. From 2005 to 2007, she went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law. While in law school, Charlene worked for the Florida House of Representatives as a legislative fellow of the Justice Council and for the FSU Student Supreme Court as an Associate Justice. She also served as a certified legal intern for the FSU Children’s Advocacy Center, as a representative for the Student Bar Association, and as a research assistant in the area of tort reform. Charlene also held the positions of Articles & Notes Editor for the Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law and Law School Representative for the Congress of Graduate Students.

    Admitted to The Florida Bar in 2007, Charlene is an active member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association and the Phi Beta Kappa Association of Northeast Florida.

    Charlene C.
